Rustypot is one of the original Rust skin gambling sites, running since 2017. It keeps things simple with just two games, Jackpot and Coinflip, and both are played against other people rather than the house. You deposit Rust skins, CS2, TF2, or Dota 2 skins through Skinify, or Grub Bucks gift cards, and you're paid out in Rust skins. Rustypot has no regular affiliate links, so you need to enter code truth in your profile to get free Grub Bucks. It has no gambling license, and the site takes up to 10% of every pot.
Most sites add a code for you when you sign up through a link, but Rustypot does not work that way. You have to enter it yourself, and it only takes a minute:
While you are on that page, paste your Steam trade URL into the box above and press Save. Rustypot can't send you anything without it.
Step 1: Click your name and open My Profile
Step 2: Enter truth in the Referral Code box and press Claim
Rustypot has been taking bets since 2017, which is a long time in Rust gambling. Plenty of sites from that era have disappeared. That history counts for a lot, but there are some gaps you should know about too:
If you were playing Rust in 2017, you'll recognise Rustypot straight away. There are no crates, mines, or upgraders. You get Jackpot and Coinflip, and every bet is against another player. The current jackpot and coinflip totals sit at the top of every page, so you can see where the action is.
Everyone deposits Rust skins into one pot, and your chance of winning is your share of its value. Rounds run on a timer and hold up to 200 items, with a $0.50 minimum deposit. Put in 40% of the pot and you have a 40% chance at all of it.
Create a game with your skins, pick red or black, and wait for someone to match your value within 10%. It is a straight 50/50 and the winner takes both sides. Bets start at 50 cents, and the lobby always has games open.
If nobody joins your coinflip, you can call in Jimmy. He is a player run by Rustypot who takes the other side of your flip, on games under $5,000, once your lobby has been open for a while. His games show "Made by Jimmy" in the list. Rustypot says he uses the same provably fair system as everyone else, but some players don't like the idea of the site itself betting against them. If that bothers you, just wait for a real opponent.
Rustypot doesn't have a fixed house edge like a crate site. It takes a commission from each pot instead. The terms say it is between 0% and 10% of the total value, and it comes out of the items in the pot. In a coinflip, that means the winner gets back a little less than both sides put in.
Grub Bucks are Rustypot's site credit. You get them from claim codes like truth, from gift cards, or by depositing CS2, TF2, or Dota 2 skins through Skinify. You spend them in the Grub Shop, which is stocked with Rust skins ranging from a few dollars to over $3,000. Once you pick a skin, you can withdraw it to Steam, throw it into the jackpot, or start a coinflip with it.
Free Grub Bucks
Up to 50% Extra Grub
The free Grub from code truth is a small starting push, not a bankroll. The gift card bonus is the bigger deal. With 40% extra Grub, a $50 card gets you $70 to spend in the shop. Remember, though, that Grub goes on shop skins at Rustypot's prices, so it isn't quite the same as 40% extra cash.
Rust skins are the main way in. Make your Steam inventory public, turn on the Steam Mobile Authenticator so your trades aren't held for 15 days, and save your trade URL in your profile. If you don't have Rust skins, you can buy a Grub Bucks gift card on Kinguin or trade in CS2, TF2, or Dota 2 items through Skinify. There is no crypto, card, or PayPal option.
When you win a jackpot or coinflip, the skins come to you as a Steam trade offer. Accept it within 10 minutes. If it's still pending after an hour, contact support. Coinflip winnings that aren't claimed within 12 hours are void, so don't start a flip and walk away. Grub Bucks go through the shop, and the skins you pick there can be withdrawn the same way.
Rustypot looks the same as it has for years, with a red and black theme, a chat on the right, and the live jackpot and coinflip totals at the top. It's quick to load and easy to find your way around. The jackpot page shows the last few winners and the biggest pot of the past 24 hours, which was a $1,518 pot won with a 34.64% chance when we checked.
Short giveaways run around the clock. Anyone who has wagered at least $5 in the last three hours can join for a free skin.
Lock your account for 12 hours, 24 hours, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days. It cannot be undone early, which is the point.
Win a coinflip and you can throw the whole pot into a new flip straight away. It is on by default, so switch it off in your profile if you want.
Rustypot is for players aged 18 and over. The Self Ban button in your profile locks you out of everything for 12 hours, 24 hours, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days, and you can't lift it early. For a permanent ban, ask support. That puts Rustypot ahead of a lot of bigger sites. Turning off Double Down is another easy way to stop one win from turning into a chain of flips.
Support runs through Discord, where you open a ticket in the Rustypot server. If you can't use Discord, email [email protected]. Recent Trustpilot reviews say tickets are answered fast, even late at night. On the downside, Rustypot doesn't reply to negative reviews on Trustpilot, and a few players say the chat moderators can be harsh.
Rustypot has been running since 2017 and pays winners in Rust skins through Steam trades. It uses Random.org for provably fair results. It has no license and doesn't say who owns it, and its Steam group was removed by Valve, so start small and make sure your first withdrawal goes through.
Use code truth for free Grub Bucks. Rustypot doesn't use affiliate links, so you have to enter it yourself. Go to My Profile, type it into the Referral Code box, and press Claim.
Most of the time your account isn't verified yet. Press Verify in your profile settings. You need to own Rust and link your Discord account to the Rustypot server before a code can be claimed.
Just two: Jackpot and Coinflip. In Jackpot, everyone puts skins in one pot and your odds match your share. In Coinflip, two players put in roughly the same value and one takes it all.
Grub Bucks are Rustypot's site credit. You get them from codes, gift cards, or CS2, TF2, and Dota 2 skin deposits, and you spend them on Rust skins in the Grub Shop. Those skins can be withdrawn, deposited into the jackpot, or used in a coinflip.
No. Rustypot takes Rust skins, gift cards, and CS2, TF2, or Dota 2 skins through Skinify. Withdrawals are Rust skins only.
Rustypot takes a commission of 0% to 10% of each pot, removed from the items before the winner is paid.
Gambling involves risk and should not be seen as a way to make money. Only wager what you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, visit BeGambleAware.org or call 1-800-GAMBLER for free, confidential support. You must be 18+ (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) to gamble.
Rustypot accepts Rust skins by Steam trade, CS2, TF2, and Dota 2 skins through Skinify, and Grub Bucks gift cards from Kinguin. Winnings and Grub Shop purchases are withdrawn as Rust skins.
